Ari and I have been training for several months now. He’s super patient and knowledgeable, but most importantly he keeps me motivated! I have a neck injury that I go to physical therapy for, so it’s nice to work out with a trainer that’s cognizant of that and adjusts our workouts accordingly so I only make forward progress. I enjoy going to the gym now and even stay after to do an uphill walk due to Ari’s encouragement.

I was hesitant to begin boxing when I was approached by coach Ari at my gym, but after considering it I decided to step out of my comfort zone and give it a try. It turned out to be one of the best decisions i've ever made in my life. I was 275 pounds when I began training with Ari and after several months I was down to 225. His one on one sessions gave me the motivation and discipline to stop drinking and eating poorly. I gradually saw improvements from week to week, and month to month, and all it did was motivate me to keep going and getting better. I would highly recommend you step out of your comfort zone too and give it a try, even if it's something you've never considered. You won't regret it and will look and feel the best you ever have.

Ari and Bobby are knowledgeable and respected coaches. I thought I wouldn’t be able to box due to injuries I got in an accident but thanks to the work of these two it wasn’t an issue. No matter your background, injuries, or hurdles you think may hold you back they will show you how to work through it and overcome it.

Joining the Performance Lab has been nothing but an absolute turning point in my life. I began this journey recovering from tearing my ACL and meniscus in both knees, along with a torn labrum, while battling depression that stemmed from significant weight gain as I teetered on the cusp of obesity. From day one, Ari and Bobbi welcomed me like family and saw potential in me even when I struggled to see it myself. They provided expert boxing instruction while carefully working around my injuries and consistently supported my weight loss journey. Over the past year, I’ve lost more than 60 pounds, rebuilt my strength, and regained confidence and self respect. What started as me walking in a complete stranger, turned into something I never expected, real friendships, accountability, laughter on hard days, and coaches who genuinely care about who you are outside the gym. AKS isn’t just where I train; it’s become a second family and a place I’m proud to call home.

Coach Ari is the best! He’s super knowledgeable about boxing and an amazing teacher. He makes boxing fun and it’s a great workout + self defense! Definitely recommend!!
